McFadden Marigold Plissé Dress S/M

Make golden hour last all night long in this stunning strapless dress. With impeccable construction on a simple yet sculptural silhouette featuring luxurious Fortuny pleats in a gorgeous honeyed hue. Boned bodice (lined with 2 layers of paperthin silk), nipped in waist with sash to cinch further, and a Grecian style asymmetrical draped skirt lined with organza and weighted to maintain beautiful, structural volume. Unfortunately, the label has been removed, but we have no doubt that this is a Mary McFadden couture dress, circa 1980s.

• Fully lined, opaque
• Hook and zip at side, sash at waist
• Great condition, very light signs of wear inside the lining/bodice but no major flaws and nothing visible on exterior

Measurements 

Fit notes: slightly fitted in bodice & waist with no stretch. Hip has some flexibility with the overlap wrap cut. Bodice/bust should fit tight to hold up. Waist can be a little big because the sash can cinch it.
