Seminole Patchwork Skirt L

Incredibly gorgeous vintage Seminole patchwork skirt in an array of colorful ribboned twists and turns framed by swaths of ric rac trim. The bright golden yellow, tangerine, grape, celery green, magenta and ruby hues dance off the warm Mediterranean blue background. This craft of the Seminole tribe is a true artform, with lovely detailing and intricate handwork throughout. This will be sure to become a treasured piece in your wardrobe. No labels, handmade. From the stitching, fabric and (replaced) elastic we'd date this from the 1960s or 70s.

• Feels like 100% cotton, possibly a blend, crisp and light (but weighty with all the patchwork and trim)
• Unlined, opaque
• Pull on style, stretchy waist
• Great condition, there are some very small brown marks on the waistband (see last pic), otherwise no flaws
