Oversized Needlepoint Lucite Frame Purse
FAB. Vintage romantic needlepoint purse with rare clear lucite frame and chain strap. There are pretty mauve, rose and azure flower motifs on both sides of the purse, and a shockingly gorgeous periwinkle blue lining. Inside, there are three pleated slip pockets, a very roomy main compartment, and a small matching envelope bag - for cash, card, etc. Beautifully made. Label "Custom Bags Christine" of Detroit, circa 1960s.
• 14 1/2” wide, 11” high, 2” deep, 5" strap drop
• Needlepoint outer, silky nylon lining, lucite frame & link strap
• Turning hinge clasp closure
• Excellent condition, the bag is ever so slightly wider on one side, but isn't all that noticeable. Otherwise, no flaws, looks never used!
