Whimsical and cheeky vintage silk novelty blouse printed with gloved and bejeweled hands clutching printed idiom laced ribbons - "Every cloud has a silver lining, the early bird catches the worm, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, etc etc. The 1940s inspired detailing is so pretty, with a gently nipped in waistline, crisp french cuffs, sharp collar and fabric covered buttons. By label Nick & Nora of New York, made in USA, circa 1990s.
