French WWII military issued bag in heavy duty canvas and thick olive tone leather. Boxy shape has an articulated flap that buckles on the front, vinyl lined interior and chunky clip/ring hardware for converting the adjustable strap between crossbody length and backpack style. Yes - it converts! Stamped "Lapalisse" along with some other writing that isn't legible. Appears circa 1940s.
