Darling vintage dark red lacquered wood basket box bag with lunchbox style folding handles, a picnic basket style hinge opening on top and roomy interior plenty big enough for all the essentials and a few extras too. Stamped Japan on the base, appears circa 1950s, possibly earlier.
• 8.5" wide, 5.5" high, 4.5" deep, 5" handle drop
• Lacquered wood, metal hardware
• Clasp closure on top
• Great condition, light wear commensurate with age, hinges are a little bit wiggly but still secure
