Electric Plaid Pillow Pouch

This small circular pouch has some serious flair, with it's neon hued plaid pattern and luxe white velvet interior. It looks like a travel pouch for stashing your jewels - along the interior border there are a few small slip pockets, and there is a removable white velvet pillow insert in the center, for pins perhaps? Smooth gliding metal zipper around the exterior. No labels, circa 1960s/70s.
