1960s Victorian Needlepoint XL Purse
Genius! Extra large, extra in charge, vintage naturalist needlepoint purse featuring a bird, butterfly and flower motif on both sides. Shades of cornflower blue, butter yellow, mossy green and sepia pop off the muted orchid purple base, trimmed with aubergine leather sides and a chunky golden chain strap. The interior is extra roomy, with two handy slip pockets and an additional zip pocket. No maker label, well made, circa 1960s.
• 9-11.5" wide, 10.5" high, 3.5" depth, 7" handle drop
• Needlepoint and leather exterior, grosgrain lining, chunky metal hardware
• Push lock closure
• Excellent condition, some very minor aging to the side panels, chain is a newer addition, no major flaws
